This was the trailer for a 2d TV series.Julian Hermannsen was responsible for the preproduction on this. Early compositing of the layouts and splitting it into elements and layers to be given out to 2d animation and background painting.
So when the final 2d elements arrived, everything matched neatly and we were able to replace the footage, add some effects and make it look nice quickly.
