Showing the uniqueness of people's sleeping options, took us to equally unique locations for the shoot of this spot: from the ice floes of Iceland to sand dunes of the Canary Islands. Directed by Hanna Maria Heidrich, photographed by Franz Lustig this dreamy IKEA spot combined on-location shoot with repeated passes for the actors at a Hamburg studio.
Julian Hermannsen acted as the motion control supervisor on set and at the studio. The original moves were shot manually with steadicam and crane. We then 3d tracked the moves and prepared them to shoot matching passes on a long arm MILO. The motion control shoot was done for the actors in a green screen studio including some additional sfx passes and the owl.
