We were hired to provide motion control services on this commercial spot. Julian Hermannsen operated the Milo motion control rig.
This fun spot was shot in segments for each set. The book was mounted on a two-axis motorized modelmover for rotation and lift.
The cool thing about the spot was that most everything was done in camera: effects such as trees popping up, monkeys swinging, walls closing in - even the typo. At the end of the shooting day when we were watching the footage, we had the feeling that we could see the final spot. Did we mention, we like in-camera tricks and effects?
